Gord Bamford and Brett Kissel will put down their picks and pick up their sticks to kick off 2010 Canadian Country Music Week. The Bamford & Kissel Pics and Sticks charity hockey tournament will be held on Wednesday, September 8 at the Leduc Rec Centre (LRC). Here are the events scheduled for the day:
• School Anthem contest beginning at 3:30 p.m.
• Taste of Leduc 3:30pm• Afternoon entertainment featuring musicians from Pure Artists
4:15pm LRC Field House
• Celebrity autograph signing starting at 5:30pm
• Puck drops @ 7:30pm

Leduc’s 23rd annual Community Information and Registration Day (CIRD)will be held at the Leduc Recreation Centre this year.
CIRD is a fun-filled event where non-profit organizations, businesses and other groups from the Leduc area gain valuable exposure within the community. It is an excellent way to gather registrations, recruit volunteers and members, circulate information and increase awareness of your organization.
